Diarch 2021.1.3 (1.17 Update) (Hotfix)

  • Misc
    • Most of core diarch systems have been upgraded to 1.17
    • Stimmy is now auto applied to qualifying players
    • trade system temporarily removed
  • Hotbar System
    • Live maintenance notifications now show on the players Hotbar
    • Login messages have been integrated into a players Hotbar and will no longer cause them to lag
  • Tablist
    • Tablist has been updated with a new look
    • Tablist now shows what realm a player is in.
  • Vehicles
    • Storage vehicles have been added (can be made by shift right clicking a boat or a minecart)
      • Other vehicles have been removed due to 1.17 rewrite
  • Realms
    • Survival realm is now the default realm
      • Grave system has been added
    • Gun Realm is currently in maintenance as the remainder of the extended diarch systems are updated to 1.17
      • Shops will remain online, and accessible via /warp shops
      • Graves system has been added
    • Creative Realm has been updated to 1.17
      • Creative realm has new paths

Patch Notes

  • Misc
    • All 3 worlds now run on a unified build of our core plugin (CharCore)
    • Stimulus program has been added to jump start Diarch economy, this is available for all returning players (even those with a preexisting balance)
    • All 3 worlds are now synced into Discord Via Apu, Gropyer fren, and Diarch Bot
  • Gamemodes
    • Players will no longer be put into survival mode on join of the Creative World
  • Tablist
    • Tablist now syncs between worlds correctly, including tags such as AFK, PVP, and Creative.

  • Gamemode Changes
    • Creative mode has been added back in preparation for a Mario creator style map editor. This will allow players to design their own mob or pvp arenas and have them added to the map rotation. *
      • Eco is synchronized with Diarch and Diarch Survival for in game purchases (ex: w/e)
    • Gun
      • Gun mode has been integrated into the main world. Guns can now be crafted, bought, or obtained in the main world with full firepower*
        • Firepower is limited in certain areas
      • Mob Arena*
          • Mob Arena will now have two different modes, normal and remix
          • Normal will be the classic MA style previously used on Diarch
          • *Remix will allow for using personal weapons and allow for them to be upgraded in game, as well as progressive round scaling. Upgrades include elemental upgrades, attachments, and straight power upgrades. (kinda like COD: Cold War)
            • At the start of each Remix game, personal weapons will be nerfed to tier 0 while keep player customized attachments. The weapons can be leveled backup via workbench using gold drops.
      • Weapons
        • A system has now been put into place to allow for weapon crafting.
    • Normal Survival
      • We’ve put a system in place to have a survival only world, all items are synchronized, but guns aren’t usable. As of now the system is currently in alpha and will have a delayed release in 2021.1.2

  • Chat
    • Chat is now handled by our in-house plugin
    • Prefixes for nonmember players have been removed
    • Hovering over a player’s name in chat will reveal their rank
    • The name and chat dividers have been changed from “:” to “>”
    • Chat color has been stripped from non-member ranks
    • A censor has been added, its enabled by default. It can be toggled with /chatcensor
    • Discord Integration
  • Live Patch Management
    • Live Patches are now verified using SHA-1 hashes to prevent repetitive patch deployment.
    • Live Patch now uses the custom CHAR-API system for faster patching of diarch projects

    • Planes, Helicopters, Tanks and Tractors have been added. *
      • will be buyable at one point in Charlie’s shop (/buy)
